MAV TM4U - Mathematical Association of Victoria

Teach Maths for Understanding aims to help teachers with planning and linking to suitable resources - for all years (Foundation to Year 10). This website contains hyperlinks to a huge variety of resources, including MAV learning resources, listed below. 

To explore you need to log in with your email address and MAV password, as it is only available to MAV members. See bottom left for email contact.  Then you can explore the Differentiated Unit Plans for your Year level to see how it offers prepared unit plans enabling you to meet the learning needs of a wide range of achievement levels in any classroom. These plans are based on the Australian Curriculum.

If you need more assistance, consider contacting MAV (03 9380 2399) to arrange for a Professional Officer to visit your school. You could also email Ian Lowe at MAV (see contact at left).

To assist with planning units of work, the files from the following CD-ROMs have been included in this site. If your school has purchased any of these, then you will be able to access these resources from the green links within the Differentiated Unit Plans. The blue links below take you to the MAVShop to buy them.

In addition the plans on this website reference the non-electronic resources below, and these are also available from the MAV shop.
